A Winter in Thailand

So during the summer of 2012 my coach, Kyle Schmidt, came up to me one day and was like "Hey, how do you feel about coaching in Thailand for 3 months this winter?" My response, "ummm...yes please!" So here I am now in the middle of this crazy and amazing country called Thailand. I am living and coaching at a wakeboard camp called Wake A Lot ( www.wake-a-lot.com ). The place has a boat and a two tower cable. Not a bad jig for the winter. I will be based out of this camp but will be traveling all around the country as well as a trip to New Zealand as well and will be back in the states on March 7th. Keep an eye out for more pics and videos of my travels!

Nitro City Panama!

So as an end of the season trip a group of us decided to head down to Travis Pastranas resort down in Panama, Nitro City! The group consisted of myself, JD Webb, Shawn Watson, Dirty Mike Dowdy, Jimmy LaRiche, Shane Bonifay, Danny Evans, Steel Lafferty, and a handful of others! The whole idea for the trip was to just go down and have a good time, and that we did! Probably one of the funnest trips aht I have been on. Here are a few pics from the trip and keep an eye out for the video edit from the trip coming out soon!

Hyperlite 2013

So the new year of wake product is uppon us! So pumped to say that I've been apart of one of the top leading companies of this industry for 4 years now, Hyperlite Wakeboards!!! Minor Set Back

When involved with sports, especially extreme sports, injuries are just apart of the game. I've had a few bad ones but non that have put me out for a great deal of time. This past summer I blew my ACL in my left knee on a double up while doing a clinic up in Indiana. On July 12 I got surgery. ACL reconstruction with hamstring graph and a good chunk of my meniscus taken out. It has been a long road to recovery but with the support of my friends and family I have been getting back on the water now after 5 months of PT and rehab. Thanks everyone for the support and thanks to my new sponsor CTi for hooking me up!

Got this sick 2 page shot in one of the latest issues of UNLEASHED Wake Mag. This shot was taken by Chris Garrison while he was floating in the water with flashes mounted to his back and flashes in the boat as well. JD Webb had to drive his Nautique 230 super close in order for the flashes to hit me while shooting into the sunset. So pumped on this shot!

I just got this sent to me the other day from the international marketing guy at Hyperlite. I made the cover for a product catalog for the Hyperlite/Bylerly distributor in Germany and I guess the catalog gets sents everywhere! Pumped!

Boatshow Season!!!

So it's that time of year again, boatshows left and right, indoor rail jams, and travels around colder parts of the country that make me miss my home in Florida even more!

I flew out a few weeks ago for a 2 and a half week long trip with Step Up Productions doing indoor rail jams.
A few weeks ago was the Chicago boatshow which as a great turnout as usual. I did 5 days, 14 demos, and 84 winch pulls at the Chicago show. Just finished up a weekend in Milwaukee and have one more weekend in Milwaukee coming up. Then finally back home for some quality shredding time! Also have Grand Rapids and DC shows coming up so if you are in the area please come out and say hi! Video of the trips soon to come!

Wake Wars 2011

I have been going to Wake Wars in downtown Grand Rapids, MI for the past 3 years now and everytime time has been a great time. It is held at the parking lot of the B.O.B. which is a big building full of bars and clubs. The whole weekend is packed with wakeboarding and fun. Here are a few videos for Wake Wars 2011
